There are at least 50 internal lecturers of STIE Perbanas Surabaya who are interested in joining the workshop.
On this occasion, the speakers who were presented were Irwan Trinugroho, SE., M.Sc., Ph.D., an editor in an international journal. His party shared about strategies to get into journals of international reputation. In fact, all participants were given tricks to get research grants. "The strategy to obtain funding from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education is that the grant must be written in a reputable journal," he said.
In addition, this workshop also invited Mayastuti, SE., MSM. His party explained more about the preparation of financial reports desired by the Directorate of Higher Education so that when there is a DPK examination it is not a problem. "Researchers must always report the use of their finances, to get good financial reports," he explained.
On the same occasion, Dr. Muazaroh, S.E., M.T., as the Head of the Center for Research and Community Service (PPPM) STIE Perbanas Surabaya said that this workshop was held with the aim of training the ability of lecturers to win grants. This is because one of the elements of assessing whether a tertiary institution is of good quality or not can be judged from the research and dedication carried out by the lecturers. Therefore, this component becomes a strategic value for STIE Perbanas Surabaya so that lecturers can carry out research and service from various sources of funding.
He continued, the first largest source of funding came from the Directorate of Higher Education. Then, the second comes from internal or provided by STIE Perbanas Surabaya itself, but the amount is not too big. Then, every time they finish holding an event or workshop like this, all lecturers always compile a proposal so that the results can be proven by obtaining DIKTI funding grants for research. "In 2018, around 1.5 billion were added by the acquisition of community service grants. So, the total amount of the acquisition is around 2 billion from Higher Education grants apart from internal research, "he said.
Dr. Muazaroh, S.E., M.T., also hoped that after this event, the lecturers could make good research proposals as well as higher education services. Later, there will be more research and service proposals that can be funded by the Directorate of Higher Education and the impact is on writing published in reputational journals, which will increasingly lead to accreditation of study programs, better institutions.
