The Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University Information Systems Study Program held a talk show with the theme of information technology. On this occasion, the new department from Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University collaborated with resource persons who were graduates from the information systems department. The resource person was Yudha Herlambang C.P., S.Kom., M.Kom who is a permanent lecturer at the UHW Perbanas Information Systems Study Program. Participants who took part in this talk show consisted of various layers, ranging from lecturers, prospective new students, and even high school graduates.

In this talk show, the moderator was Mrs. Ari Cahaya P., S.Kom., M.Kom. He is also one of the lecturers of the UHW Perbanas Information Systems Study Program. This talk show was held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The talkshow process went smoothly and the enthusiasm of the participants was very high. It is evident from several questions asked to the presenters.

The talk show started with the screening of a profile video for the new department from UHW Perbanas. Followed by singing the song Indonesia Raya, and next is a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design UHW Perbanas.

In his speech, the Dean of the UHW Perbanas Faculty of Engineering and Design, Dr. Muazaroh, SE., MT. conveyed that he was happy with the opening of 3 new study programs at Perbanas. The study programs are Information Systems, Informatics Engineering and Visual Communication Design. With the opening of the new study program, the status of Perbanas changed from a high school to a university.

He also advised in his speech to listen to the presentations of the speakers in the talk show, considering this is a new department and the future work prospects of the department are very good. Moreover, with the previous Perbanas background being banking, now with technology the future of banking will be more interesting to follow.

After the remarks from the Dean of the FTD UHW Perbanas, the event continued with the delivery of material by the speakers. The resource person presented material about the career prospects of information systems graduates. The resource person presented the material for approximately 90 minutes.

In one of the resource persons, it was stated that the job prospects of the information systems department were quite promising. Especially with the development of technology that is increasing day by day. One of the graduates who is a mainstay in the information systems department is to become a systems analyst.

Being a system analyst is tasked with digging up as much information as possible about the systems used in a company. The salary obtained from a System Analyst ranges from 6 to 12 million. Not only that, there are many more job prospects that can be pursued from the Information Systems major.

The next event is a question and answers session and the last is closing. With the end of this talk show, it is hoped that participants can add insight about the new majors at Hayam Wuruk University, Perbanas. With his understanding of the new department at UHW Perbanas, it is hoped that there will be more and more interested people in this new department. (yhcp/SI)
