The output of a college is two important things, namely good graduates and useful knowledge. That is what was conveyed by the Head of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., in welcoming the participants of the Training for Competency Improvement of Digital-Based Economics Subjects for Teachers on Saturday (13/2) yesterday.

In this activity, he stated that generation Z and digital learning were the right choices for learning models. The reason is, today's children are very close to digital things so digital learning is important for students. "At STIE Perbanas Surabaya, this has become a habit," said Dr. Yudi to dozens of economic teachers who are members of the Economic Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) of East Java Province.

According to him, the existence of the digital world has an impact on teachers to prepare material digitally as well. "This allows all forms of learning activities, starting from material presentation, assignments, interactions, evaluations, and usually we add contributions. So, the learning outcomes must generate benefits for other parties in digital form," he explained.

So far, STIE Perbanas Surabaya students have used digital media for the learning process. In fact, many student studies on this business and banking campus are digitized. One of them is through YouTube.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Surabaya City Economic MGMP Supervisor, Drs. Slamet Budi Santoso, MM., Thanked STIE Perbanas Surabaya for repeatedly cooperating with his party. "And, (this activity) is a tremendous contribution to STIE Perbanas Surabaya, in order to advance (education) especially economic lessons in Surabaya," Slamet appreciated during the event.

He also hopes that this training will provide good provisions in leading students to success. "I hope this activity will provide teachers with better provisions in preparing students," he hoped. (eko / hms)
