After winning 1st place in the Teller Competition, Dewi is determined to be proud of her campus again
STIE Perbanas Surabaya students never stop to make achievements. After the Bachelor of Accounting and Management students have won, now it is the turn for Diploma 3 Banking & Finance students. Right on Saturday, October 20, 2018, a student whose full name is Dewi Fardilasani managed to win 1st place in the Teller Competition in the "Banking and Finance Week" event at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta.
When met after winning, Dewi shared her experiences during the competition. Initially, this hijab girl admitted to being a little afraid because her opponents came from well-known and state universities, such as the University of Indonesia, the State University of Jember, the Indonesian Christian University, UII Yogyakarta, and others.
Furthermore, this 2017 class student had to go through several rounds to get to the final and win. In the preliminary round, all participants must take a written test. Then for the semi-finals and finals, participants who qualify must go through roleplay.
Dewi added that during the preliminary process, the material taught during STIE Perbanas Surabaya was used during competitions. He also felt that he had more preparation to overcome all these challenges.
"The material came out all, especially in the Diploma 3. I just didn't get the LOB (Bank Operational Lab, -red) material because I was still in semester 3. But thanks to Mrs. Chitra's assistance and being taught directly at LOB campus 1, I was biased. Because everyone has been told the same picture as Mrs. Chitra, ”he explained.
After winning, Dewi hopes to get another chance to compete. The reason is, he wants to be proud of his study program and STIE Perbanas Surabaya with various competitions that will be followed. "Hopefully you will be given another chance for another competition to make your diploma study program proud and improve whatever the competition is," hoped the alumni of SMA Muhammdiyah 2 Sidoarjo.
