S1 Accounting Students of STIE Perbanas Surabaya Almost Got All Winning Categories
Great!!! Undergraduate students of Accounting from STIE Perbanas Surabaya almost bought up all categories of winners. Student named Reza Agus Rivandi managed to win 4 out of 5 categories that were contested. Now, he has been crowned the General Champion in the National Accounting Olympiad competition by the Padang State Polytechnic on Saturday-Sunday (21-22 / 11) yesterday. The national level competition categories obtained include: 1st place in the Public Sector Accounting Category, 2nd place in the Cost and Managerial Accounting Category, 2nd place in the Taxation Category, and 3rd place in the Audit and Information System Category.
Contacted after the competition, Reza shared his experiences during the competition. He did not expect that he would get a proud achievement for the alma mater. The reason is, the number and distribution of participants who took part in the competition was quite large, up to 144 participants throughout Indonesia.
"Based on the large number of participants and the variety from both public and private campuses in Indonesia, it made me feel less confident at first. Especially with the scope of the competition category and the questions that were tested, it was enough to make me sigh in doing it. I bowed down in gratitude as soon as I got the overall winner, ”he said.
Reza said, the competition he participated in had 2 rounds for each category, so it lasted 2 days. In the first round, participants are required to work on multiple choice questions on the website provided by the organizer with a time limit. For the second round, participants were required to work on case study questions provided on the website as well.
"When the race was running in the area there was heavy rain which resulted in electrical disruptions in the house. This incident made me nervous and nervous because I remembered the ongoing problem work and the condition of the laptop that was almost running out of power.
