STIE Perbanas Surabaya held a Master of Management Program, Undergraduate Program and 3-year diploma on Saturday, 19 September 2020. Taking place online via Zoom and YouTube, 327 graduates were confirmed by the Chairperson of STIE Perbanas Surabaya. In details, 12 graduates of the Master of Management Study Program, 107 graduates of accounting degrees, 177 graduates of management degrees, 29 graduates of sharia economics, and 2 graduates of 3-year diploma in Accounting.

The names of the best graduates from each study program are Asfahan Amir Ishak, S.E., MM (Master of Management Study Program), Rizal Efendi, S.Akt. Bachelor of Accounting, Amilia Jasmin Nabila, S.M. (Bachelor of Management), and Sri Widawati, S.E. (Bachelor of Sharia Economics). The best graduates for each study program are determined based on a number of conditions, including: (a) Graduates with honors (Cumlaude); (b) Never failed academically; (c) Have a composite score (combined) based on: Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) and Student Softskill Development Credit Unit Score (SKPSM). For the Best Graduates from the Bachelor of Management, Accounting, and Sharia Economics Study Programs, they get a scholarship of IDR 10 million to continue their studies in the Master of Management Program at STIE Perbanas Surabaya.

Then, for the Best Graduates from all study programs pinned to Rizal Efendi, S.Akt., With the acquisition of a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.85. This man who was born in Surabaya, March 8, 1998 is one of the recipients of the Full Scholarship. While studying at the Best Business and Banking Campus in Indonesia, he is free of tuition fees. In addition, Rizal is among students who are active in organizations, one of which is the Chair of the Accounting Study Program Student Association.

When met after the event, the youngest child of the couple Mr. Suwandi and Mrs. Siti Romlah admitted that they did not expect to get the best title. "Especially in the pandemic (covid 19), thank God, the opportunity to graduate can still be given, even though it is in limited space," he impressed.

He continued, Rizal felt very grateful, moved, and happy after becoming the best graduate. This is because STIE Perbanas Surabaya does not believe in carrying out the mandate to become outstanding graduates. In fact, after a few months after the thesis trial, he was accepted to work at the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) Kanaka Puradiredja Suhartono (Nexia International). "There I was a Junior Auditor. The waiting period after the thesis trial is less than a month, ”he added.

The male alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya also managed to get a series of achievements on and off campus. The achievements that he has made include: Winner of BALANCE Adventure and Leader Board in the Balance of the Islamic University of Indonesia, First Place in the 2019 National High School Accounting Competition; 1st Winner of the 2019 National Mulawarman Accounting Competition; 3rd Winner of the 2019 National Accounting Olympiad; And many others.

Meanwhile, Rector of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., said that the graduation this time was held online. That is, solely to consider safety aspects as a top priority for all. "The students who graduated this time, we still call them one by one. After all have been summoned, we will secure it together with the rope to move the pigtails, ”he explained.
