The annual program for the first batch of STIE Perbanas Surabaya students was held again in the even semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. The program, which is familiarly known as Super Soft Skills Mentoring (SSM), this time started to be shaded by the Student Development Center and Perbanas Career Center (SDC & PCC) STIE Perbanas Surabaya. The goal is for the first batch of students to be given direction so that their interests and talents can be developed into more positive activities.

The Chief Executive, Lufi Yuwana Murshita, S.E., M.Sc., said that the 2020 SSM program was started by recruiting senior students. This means that these students have participated in a similar program in the previous year. Later, those who pass the administrative and interview selection will be asked to become mentors and managing partners (MP). "The first SSM activity for prospective mentors is in the form of Training of Mentors or TOM," he explained.

Furthermore, he explained that the students who passed to become mentors played a role in guiding and directing the first batch of students in recognizing their own abilities. The 2020 Super Softskills Mentoring (SSM) Training of Mentoring (TOM) was held for three meeting days. Right on Thursday, 27 February 2020, all prospective mentors and managing partners attended the opening ceremony and continued with the material. The presenters who were presented included: Laila Saleh Marta ', S.Psi., M.MT., Bagus Suminar, S.E., S.Psi., M.M., Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., Dr. Drs. Ec. Herizon, M.Sc., and others.

Then, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., as Deputy Head of Student Development and Public Relations, said that the SSM Program has become an annual routine agenda. This program is felt to be important because in addition to developing academic potential, soft skills play an important role for students when they are still in college until they enter the world of work. When giving a speech, he explained that soft skills are applied and obtained during lectures, organizational activities, competitions, and others. "For that, let us succeed this SSM program wholeheartedly to achieve success in order to build the character of STIE Perbanas Surabaya students," he ordered to prospective mentors of SSM 2020. (eko/hms)
