Monday, December 2, 2019, STIE Perbanas received a visit from Teachers and Students of SMK Assi'idiyah Kudus. Taking place at the Auditorium Campus 1 of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, this event was welcomed by the Deputy Head of Academic Affairs at STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Drs. Emanuel Kristijadi, MM., Head of the Sharia Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Dra. Ec. Wiwik Lestari, M.Si., and Head of Banking Laboratory, Evi Sistiyarini, S.S., M.M.

On that occasion, Dr. Emanuel Kristijadi, M.M., said that his party is very grateful for the trust given, because STIE Perbanas Surabaya is a place for student visits. So far, STIE Perbanas Surabaya already has Conventional and Sharia Banking Laboratory facilities. "So we developed our own banking lab system and used it as a reference by several other campuses," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Principal of SMK Assi'idiyah Kudus, Ali Shodiqin, S.PdI., M.Pd., said that visits to tertiary institutions were one of the SMK revitalization programs. This is aligned with government programs, especially in SMK, with the aim of increasing cooperation with universities. Apart from visits, Ali wanted his students to be motivated to continue their education up to university. "Hopefully, our alumni will later study in Surabaya," he hoped.

This visit was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by Evi Sistiyarini, S.E., M.M., as the Head of the Banking Lab and Ali Shodiqin, S.PdI., M.Pd., as the Head of SMK Assi'idiyah Kudus. All visiting participants also received various materials and study information at STIE Perbanas Surabaya. Among them: information on the undergraduate study program in sharia economics, admission of new students, and implementation of banking lessons at STIE Perbanas Surabaya. (public relations)
