The Accounting Study Program of STIE Perbanas Surabaya again held a Talkshow with Radio Sindo Trijaya. This time, the material presented by the resource person was related to "The Importance of Accounting in the Household". The speakers presented included Laely Aghe Africa, SE., MM (lecturer) and students named Ilna Octa Briyanti and Sheina Sri Mustari. On Thursday, (13/4), at Room II A302, the talkshow was attended by dozens of accounting students.

The event which lasted for 1 hour, starting at 11.00 - 12.00 WIB began with a reading program divided into 3 sessions accompanied by a question and answer session, which was hosted by a team from Sindo radio itself. Before entering the question and answer session the speakers explained simple ways to manage finances, for example: by understanding the family financial system; recognize family needs and wants; saving and investing and so on. All the material presented will certainly be useful for the future of the participants.

One of the speakers, Ilna Octa Briyanto, conveyed a message to friends who attended the talkshow so that they could make a priority scale in managing finances. The reason is, the needs and desires have differences so it is necessary to apply the knowledge of household accounting.

"If we want to live comfortably as boarding school kids, we can't join in like our other friends, for example, our friends buy clothes but we don't need new clothes yet, so we don't need to buy new clothes," concluded Ilna when audience (Nisrina.r)
