Amid the increasing need for higher education, there are still a number of students who are able to study for free. This opportunity is obtained from none other than the scholarship program. At STIE Perbanas Surabaya, 42 new 2017 students received scholarship programs, including: 15 Full Scholarships, 22 Bidikmisi Scholarships, and 5 Perbanas East Java Scholarships.

This symbolic scholarship was handed over during the 2017 New Student Harmony Group 1 activities on Monday, 7 August 2017 at the Auditorium of campus 1, Jalan Nginden Semolo 34-36 Surabaya. The handover was carried out directly by the Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, M.Fin., Accompanied by the Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Sasongko Budisusetyo, M.Sc., to Khurotul Aini and Citra Baby Safitri.

This scholarship program is given to new students in order to support government programs to educate the young generation of the Indonesian nation. This Full Scholarship Program is given by the STIE Perbanas Surabaya institution, while the East Java Perbanas Scholarship is given by the East Java Perbanas Foundation. From the government, STIE Perbanas Surabaya also accepts Bidikmisi students whose number reaches 22, according to the quota given by Kopertis Region 7, East Java.

The hope is that new scholarship recipients can take advantage of this opportunity to improve their achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. The reason is, the scholarship recipient students will receive guidance and direction from the lecturer team to achieve achievements so that they can make the name of the student concerned or the STIE Perbanas Surabaya institution proud.
