Center of Applied Banking and Management (CABM) STIE Perbanas Surabaya which is engaged in business, management and banking training for practitioners and academics outside STIE Perbanas Surabaya. Not only that, CABM STIE Perbanas Surabaya also supports activities held by the STIE Perbanas Surabaya Laboratory, such as the Management Laboratory, Accounting Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Commercial Bank and Sharia Bank Laboratory, and Language Laboratory.

CABM STIE Perbanas Surabaya, which was given the trust of the Risk Management Certification Agency (BSMR) and the Banking Professional Certification Institute (LSPP) as providers, has again held a refreshment training program for bankers who have passed the risk management certification exam. There were 13 participants who took part in this training, they came from Bank Mestika Dharma, Bank Maspion Indonesia, Bank of India, and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI).

This training activity was held on Wednesday, January 18 2017 at the Horison Suites Hotel Surabaya. In order to support the training, there are four speakers who are very competent in their fields, namely Mrs. Anggraeni, SE., M.Sc., Prof. Dr. R. Wilopo M.Si, Ak, Drs. Sudjarno Eko Supriyono, M.M., Dr. Abdul Mongid, MA. The participants were very enthusiastic in discussing and asking several questions in accordance with the current case in the Banking Industry.

The purpose of this training is to provide refresher for professional bankers who have passed the risk management certification exam and also maintain risk management certification where the validity period for Risk Management Certification Level 1 to 3 is 4 years and 2 (two) years for Level 4. and 5. On the other hand, bankers can also extend their certificates through this refreshment training program. Meanwhile, the benefits obtained by STIE Perbanas Surabaya are to establish beneficial cooperation with agencies / companies / banks from Perbanas members and outside Perbanas members. In addition, CABM as the Business Center of STIE Perbanas Surabaya can be an alternative income that can be obtained by an institution. Higher education will be able to progress and develop if it does not only rely on income from student tuition fees, but income that can be obtained outside of student tuition fees.
