STIE Perbanas Surabaya for the fourth time again held an International Conference on Business & Banking (ICBB), at The Sentosa Villas & Resort Lombok, Mataram 24-25 August 2016.

After successfully cooperating with Warmadewa University Bali in 2012 and Sri Pathum University Thailand in 2014, the conference which was held to share research in the field of Business & Banking was held again by collaborating with IAIN Mataram as co-host, with the theme Synergizing the banking & business. sectors for increasing the regional competitive advantage.

Followed by 44 researchers (academics) from various universities in Indonesia and abroad such as India, Timor Leste, Malaysia, Thailand, and Turkey, there are several interesting studies to be appointed, one of which is the potential for savings sukuk issued by the government in reducing the APBN deficit. . Savings Sukuk as an investment instrument can be used as a means of saving public funds safely and comfortably, as well as investing.

Dr. Lutfi, M.Fin, as the chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya in his speech hoped that "We hope that the ICBB which has been held by STIE Perbanas Surabaya for 4 times is sustainable (suistanable) because this is a forum for researchers and lecturers to continue to develop knowledge in the business and banking sector. In the context of increasing research in this field, besides that with the theme Synergizing the banking & business sectors for increasing the regional competitive advantage, this is right on target for now, because this country really needs improvements in these two interrelated fields to improve the economy, so that the Indonesian Economy is getting better. "
