UHW Perbanas Quality Assurance Center Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from Umaha

The Quality Assurance Center (PPM) of Universitas Hayam Wuruk (UHW) Perbanas welcomed a benchmarking visit from Universitas Maarif Hasyim Latif (Umaha). The event, held in Room C401 at the Wonorejo Campus, aimed to exchange knowledge and experiences, particularly regarding the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum.Head of the Quality Assurance Center at UHW Perbanas, Prof. Burhanudin, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., together with his team, warmly welcomed the Umaha delegation. For him, the visit was an honor, as UHW Perbanas has been trusted as a reference campus in higher education governance.
“We are honored to be trusted as a partner in sharing best practices in implementing OBE. Hopefully, this discussion will bring tangible benefits to both institutions,” said Prof. Burhanudin on Wednesday (Sept 17).
Meanwhile, Moch. Anshori, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Universitas Maarif Hasyim Latif, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from UHW Perbanas. He noted that there were many best practices that could be learned during the discussion, particularly regarding the implementation of the OBE curriculum and graduate learning outcomes.
“We have gained a lot of valuable insights from this visit. Later, the team members who joined here will share their experiences with other colleagues at Umaha,” he stated.
In preparation for the accreditation of Umaha’s Bachelor of Management program, Anshori encouraged his team to strive for excellence, similar to what UHW Perbanas has achieved. “Our hope is that the Bachelor of Management program can also achieve Excellent accreditation. Going forward, we plan to return here to continue learning from UHW Perbanas,” he concluded. (eko/pr)
