UHW Perbanas Holds Webinar on Smart Strategies for Achieving Success: Supporting Gen Z’s Future Careers

The younger generation still has a long journey ahead in shaping a successful future. However, many of them often face uncertainties when making decisions after graduating from senior high school. Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., Rector of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, encouraged members of Generation Z to make thoughtful decisions regarding their educational and career paths. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting youth in achieving future success. “Therefore, it is essential for young people to understand their personal potential and to choose the right path early on, whether that be pursuing higher education or entering the workforce,” he emphasized.
Dr. Yudi further explained that this capacity building initiative, held in collaboration with the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Surabaya, carries a noble mission: to equip youth with insights and practical strategies for facing post-high school challenges. “At UHW Perbanas, we are proud to play a role as agents who support and encourage youth success, particularly in the city of Surabaya,” he stated on Saturday (July 12).
Meanwhile, Dr. Shinta Setia, S.Psi., M.Com., Chairperson of DWP Surabaya, expressed her appreciation for the enthusiasm shown by participants who joined the online forum. She affirmed that every teenager in Surabaya is a valuable asset. “All children in Surabaya are like pearls. They need proper guidance and mentorship in order to shine, build successful careers, and contribute positively to the nation’s future,” she explained.
The webinar featured several distinguished speakers who shared their professional experiences and strategies for career success. The keynote speakers of the webinar “Smart Strategies for Achieving Success After Senior High School” included: Bagus Suminar (Education Quality Management Consultant); M. Husni Mubarok (Assistant Manager at Bank Mandiri); Finoliya Wahyu (Junior Expert Planner at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia); Athallah Anindya (Full Scholarship Recipient in Visual Communication Design at UHW Perbanas) (eko/public relations)
