Holding a Seminar, UHW Perbanas Management Student Association Encourages Gen Z to Invest and Become Entrepreneurs

The Management Student Association (Himaprodi) of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas organized a Seminar on Finance and Banking. Held at the 10th Floor Auditorium of the Wonorejo Campus, the event was attended by hundreds of students interested in investment activities and the world of entrepreneurship.The Event Chairperson, Nadila Raihanah Salsabila, stated that this seminar marked the closing event of the 2025 Management Festival series organized by their student body. She explained that several activities had already taken place, including an Essay Competition, Business Case Competition, and National Seminars on various management concentrations.
"Through this seminar, we aim to encourage Gen Z to become more aware and insightful about investment and entrepreneurship, so they can apply these in their communities," Nadila explained during the seminar on Friday (June 20).
Furthermore, this year's National Seminar on Finance and Banking carried the theme: "Sustainable Investment based on ESG: Collaboration Between Business, Finance, and Ethical Values."
Moderated by Meliza Silvi, S.E., M.Si., the seminar featured several speakers, including Heri Cahyo Bagus (Founder of Santripreneur Academy Nusantara and Director of PT BMI), Cita Mellisa (Head of the IDX Representative Office), and Rifqi Widi H (BCA Wealth Specialist).
Meanwhile, the Rector of UHW Perbanas emphasized the importance of such activities for students as the younger generation preparing for a brighter future. He also encouraged students to make the most of this forum to broaden their insights and competencies in the field of business.
"Don’t worry. Here, we will learn, be guided, and be enlightened about how to do business—especially in relation to investment," he affirmed. (eko/hms)
