Students from Thai Global Business Administration Technological College showed great enthusiasm as they participated in both the introduction and hands-on cooking sessions featuring various traditional Indonesian dishes. Beyond just tasting, they were also guided to prepare local ingredients into delicious meals under the supervision of professional chefs.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UHW Perbanas, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, Psi., M.M., stated that the initiative aimed to explore the diversity of Indonesian cuisine while broadening the cultural perspectives of international students during their exchange program.
“Through this short course, we hope their knowledge and appreciation of Indonesia, particularly in the culinary field, will grow broader and more insightful,” she expressed on Thursday (Nov 21).
The four international students involved in the program were Kaung Khant Kyaw, Saw Than Zaw, Thuai Wai Shein, and Kyaw Ye Aung. All of them actively participated in every part of the activity with a strong enthusiasm for learning and collaboration. (eko/pr)
