At BCA Office, UHW Perbanas Promotes the RPL Program

Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas continues to strengthen its capacity in facilitating access to higher education for working professionals. Through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program, individuals with at least 2–3 years of work experience can pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. On Tuesday (June 3), UHW Perbanas accepted an invitation to visit the BCA Bukit Darmo Boulevard Office in Surabaya. In front of dozens of Bakti BCA internship employees, the UHW Perbanas team provided a detailed explanation of the RPL system and implementation at the university.

The socialization event was attended by several key officials, including the Chairperson of the Perbanas Education Foundation Board, Endah Nuning Rahayu, S.E., M.M.; Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Collaboration, Dr. Dra. Lindiawati, M.M.; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Dr. Luciana Spica Almilia, S.E., M.Si., QIA., CPSAK.; Head of the Center for Applied Business and Management (CABM), Dr. Anggraeni, S.E., M.Si.; and Acting Head of Marketing and Public Relations, Indrastuti Kusumaningtyas, S.Sos.

Dr. Dra. Lindiawati, M.M., stated that UHW Perbanas has been entrusted to open classes under the RPL program as part of its commitment to improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia’s banking sector. “Through the RPL scheme, employees with prior work experience can continue their studies with formal recognition of the competencies they already possess. This program offers an adaptive and relevant solution to meet the current demands of the professional world,” she explained.

She further emphasized that collaboration between universities and industries, including the banking sector, plays a vital role in campus development strategies. “We truly appreciate BCA’s support and commitment to enhancing the competence and qualifications of its employees,” she concluded.
