Dr. Anggraeni, S.E., M.Si., Director of CABM UHW Perbanas, emphasized the importance of the training in shaping the mindset and professional attitudes of Funding Officers in response to changing customer behavior and the growing demand for digital financial services.
“A smart Funding Officer is not only knowledgeable about financial products but is also capable of building long-term relationships with clients. This training is designed to ensure that participants not only understand the theory but can also apply it strategically and with a human touch,” Dr. Anggraeni explained.
Throughout the training, participants were equipped with practical skills in negotiation techniques and effective sales closing strategies to boost customer trust and loyalty. The following sessions focused on the strategic role of a Funding Officer—not only in responding to market needs but also in serving as a problem solver amid the dynamics of the banking industry.
“The training was interactive and enthusiastically received by the participants. We didn’t just deliver theory; instead, we engaged them through case studies and real-world practices that directly addressed the challenges they face in the field,” she added.
The program featured two speakers with relevant experience in the banking industry. The first speaker was Dr. Rizyana Mirda, S.E., M.M., a BPR bank commissioner in Malang and former bank executive, who delivered a session on “Effective Negotiation and Closing for Selling.” The second speaker was Dr. Anggraeni, S.E., M.Si., an academic at UHW Perbanas and former banking practitioner, who presented on “How to Become A Smart Funding Officer.”
To date, CABM UHW Perbanas continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to enhancing the competencies of human resources in the finance and banking sectors. This activity also serves as a platform to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and industry practitioners. (eko/pr)
