UHW Perbanas Welcomes Visit from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya for Quality Assurance Benchmarking
Surabaya — Universitas Hayam Wuruk (UHW) Perbanas, through its Quality Assurance Center (Pusat Penjaminan Mutu/PPM), recently welcomed a visit from the Quality Assurance Board (Badan Penjaminan Mutu/BPM) of Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (Untag) Surabaya for a benchmarking activity on the Internal Quality Assurance System (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal/SPMI). This initiative is a follow-up to the initial collaboration that has been established since March 2025.
The collaborative process began with a visit from the BPM Untag team to UHW Perbanas in early March 2025. During the meeting, BPM Untag requested assistance in the form of a resource person to provide a presentation on the preparation and submission of documents through the SPMI portal of the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). As a commitment to supporting quality enhancement in higher education, UHW Perbanas appointed Ms. Dian Oktarina from the Quality Assurance Center (PPM) as the speaker for this activity.
Ms. Dian Oktarina delivered her presentation at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya on March 19, 2025. On this occasion, she shared best practices on the implementation of SPMI at UHW Perbanas and provided technical guidance on completing and submitting documents through the SPMI Kemdiktisaintek portal.
As a continuation of this synergy, on April 30, 2025, the BPM Untag team paid another visit to the UHW Perbanas campus for an in-depth benchmarking session on the implementation of the quality assurance system at UHW Perbanas. During this visit, the BPM Untag team engaged in comprehensive discussions on the strategies, procedures, and innovations adopted by UHW Perbanas in fostering a sustainable quality culture.
Through this activity, it is expected that a stronger collaboration will be established between the two universities in developing an effective and adaptive quality assurance system amidst the ongoing transformation in higher education.
