UHW Perbanas Joins the Main Cluster of Universities in Indonesia for 2025

Universitas Hayam Wuruk (UHW) Perbanas has been classified into the Main Cluster in the 2025 Higher Education Clusterization. UHW Perbanas is one of 216 universities in Indonesia included in this category.
According to the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology’s letter number 1548/E5/AL.04/2024, dated December 19, 2024, the 2025 clusterization is based on performance data of higher education institutions processed through SINTA (Science and Technology Index) for the period of 2021–2023.
The performance data considered include information verified and validated by the institutional verifiers of Research and Community Service Units (LPPM), encompassing authorship, affiliations, articles, research, community service, intellectual property rights, and published books.
The letter also clarifies that this clusterization is not a ranking but a grouping of universities based on their performance qualifications. This serves as a foundation for drafting research roadmaps, strategic plans, and determining authorities for managing research and community service within universities.
The clusterization method aims to identify, measure, and group universities to accelerate their performance. It encourages collaborative schemes that unify and synergize the potential of universities across clusters, ultimately enhancing the quality of research and community service.
As stated in the Director of Research, Technology, and Community Service Decision No. 1114/E5/PG.02.00/2024, dated December 4, 2024, on the Classification of Universities Based on Research and Community Service Performance, the list of academic institutions in the Independent, Main, Intermediate, and Basic clusters has been officially released.
