A memorable moment was present during the Period I Graduation Ceremony of 2019 STIE Perbanas Surabaya, yesterday (22/6). The reason is, Deputy Head of Research, Community Service and Cooperation, Dr. Drs. Soni Harsono, M.Sc., and the local campus professor, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, Psi., M.M., performed singing and poetry before the closing of the event. This has never been predicted by all the participants and invited guests.

Usually, the graduation ceremony of the Best Business and Banking Campus in Indonesia has a sacred and solemn nuance. This time the nuance became even more emotional and memorable when Dr. Drs. Soni Harsono, M.Sc., sang a song entitled Titip Rindu Untuk Ayah by Ebiet G.A.D.

In the midst of the singing, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, Psi., M.M., delivered a poem for the figure of a father who is very proud of his children and family. At the same time, Tanza Dona Pertiwi, S.E., the best graduate of the Bachelor of Sharia Economics study program, came to bring a bouquet of flowers to her parents. The tears broke out even more when they hugged each other.

All graduates and invited guests were immersed in this emotional atmosphere. This moment can be said to be held for the first time as a form of respect for the figure of a father. This also shows the struggle and sacrifice of parents to be able to support their children in going to college.

It should be noted, at the first period of June 2019 Graduation there were 430 graduates who graduated, namely from 6 from the Master of Management Study Program (Prodi), 164 from the Accounting Study Program, 212 from the Bachelor of Management Study Program, 42 from the Sharia Economics Bachelor Program, 2 from the Program. Diploma in Accounting and 4 of the Banking and Finance Diploma 3 Program. The average GPA of postgraduate graduates is 3.77, Bachelor of Management 3.50, Bachelor of Accounting 3.48, Bachelor of Sharia Economics 3.68, Diploma 3 of Accounting 3.13, and Diploma of Banking & Finance 3.13. In general, the percentage of the number of students who graduated with a GPA above 3.00 was 93.7% and 232 people received the Cumlaude predicate.

Then, the names of the best graduates from each study program include: Agnes Apriani Diaz, SE, (Master of Management Study Program), Robih Salam Rahmatullah (S1 Accounting Study Program), Rachel Reyka Agapsta (S1 Management Study Program), and Tanza Dona Pertiwi (S1 Study Program. Sharia Economics). Then, talking about the Best Graduates from all study programs was finally won by Robih Salam Rahmatullah with a GPA of 3.95. (Eko)
