UHW Perbanas Holds Collective Prayer to Welcome the New Academic Semester

Universitas Hayam Wuruk (UHW) Perbanas conducted a collective prayer session ahead of the odd semester for the 2024-2025 academic year. This event was attended by members of the campus community, including lecturers and staff. For Muslims, the prayer took place at Masjid Al Haliim on the UHW Perbanas Wonorejo Campus, while non-Muslim staff and students were accommodated in Building C.The prayer was led by the Imam of Masjid Al Haliim, Ustad Heri Supriyanto, S.Kom., M.Kom., accompanied by UHW Perbanas Rector, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, SE., MSi., along with other university officials, deans, and structural leaders. The purpose of this collective prayer is to seek blessings and divine approval from Allah SWT, to pray for ease in learning, good health and safety, abundant sustenance, and peace in facing life’s challenges.
In his address, UHW Perbanas Rector, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, SE., MSi., mentioned that the collective prayer session was the realization of a mutual agreement during regular meetings. "This moment serves as an opportunity for us, the entire academic community, to strengthen our faith and devotion to God and to find the best solutions for the challenges we face in life," he stated on Friday (August 23).The collective prayer is planned to be held regularly every month, specifically every Friday at 10:30 AM WIB. "This initiative is part of the university's efforts to foster unity among employees and enhance spirituality within the campus environment," he concluded. (pr)
