On Thursday (16/11/2023), UHW Perbanas received an invitation to synergize expertise with STEKOM University to conduct a collaborative webinar with the theme “Strategies and Implementation of SME Accounting in the Digitalization Era.” This event represents the second realization of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed and implemented in 2022. During the event, UHW Perbanas featured Dr. Luciana Spica Almilia, S.E., MSi., QIA, CPSAK, as a lecturer from the Bachelor’s Program in Accounting to serve as the speaker.

The webinar garnered attention from participants, including business practitioners, academics, and students interested in the challenges and opportunities arising in the digital era. The objective of the webinar was to discuss the latest strategies in implementing SME accounting amid dynamic changes brought about by digital technology. Dr. Luciana shared knowledge and experiences regarding how accounting continues to play a crucial role and remains an essential component in sustaining businesses in an era that is no longer analog. It is expected that the insights shared by the speaker will serve as an initial step in fostering the growth of SMEs in the digitalization era.
