On Thursday (07/09/2023), UHW Perbanas once again collaborated with its partner, the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry, and Trade of Mojokerto City, in organizing training for SMEs. This time, a total of 75 SMEs participated in the training/socialization with the theme “Attracting Consumers with Environmentally Friendly Campaigns.” The training/socialization took place at the People’s House of Mojokerto City. This collaboration is not the first of its kind since this department was also a partner in implementing UHW Perbanas’ Matching Fund in 2022.

The event began with a welcome address from a representative of the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry, and Trade of Mojokerto City. Subsequently, the event started with a presentation by Ms. Lufi Yuwana Mursita, S.E., M.Sc., CA, CPMA, a lecturer at UHW Perbanas and also a member of the Domestic Collaboration Research Team that initiated this activity. The final part of the event involved collecting research data through a survey guided by Mrs. Nurul Mustafida, S.E., M.Sc.

The event received significant enthusiasm from SMEs. SMEs showed interest in environmentally friendly business practices, which were perceived to enhance the product’s value, even though there are various challenges to implementing such practices. This phenomenon is also a core part of the research topic undertaken by the team.
