On Thursday (11/07/2023), the Islamic Economics Department organized a guest lecture with Mr. Heri Cahyo, the Leader of the Mukmin Mandiri Islamic Boarding School Foundation, as the speaker. The guest lecture focused on the theme "Islamic Leadership to Support Change Management in the Disruption Era," aligning with the needs of the Islamic Economics program. Students and faculty members from the Islamic Economics Department and Management Department attended the event. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, Psi., M.M., also participated in the event.

Mr. Heri discussed how Islamic leadership at the Mukmin Mandiri Islamic Boarding School Foundation supports management amid the changes caused by innovation. The presentation explained the dynamism of Islamic leadership in facing the rapid transformations of the era. Mr. Heri also elaborated on how Islamic leadership can manage activities within the boarding school, including the management of businesses by the boarding school and the students, as a form of innovative activities aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial skills.

The guest lecture, moderated by Dr. Emma Yulianti, S.E., M.M., proceeded smoothly. Additionally, the presentation provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of Islamic leadership.
