The 78th Indonesian Independence Day left a different impression on several UHW Perbanas students who spent one month engaging in activities in Samut Prakan, Thailand. On Thursday (17/08/2023), 21 students participated in the 78th Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Ceremony in Bangkok, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Bangkok.

The ceremony took place at 600-602 Petchburi Road Ratchatewi, Bangkok, Thailand, starting at 07:00 and concluding at 10:00 Bangkok time. The Indonesian Ambassador to Bangkok, Mr. Rachmat Budiman, led the ceremony. All Indonesian citizens in Thailand and the Indonesian Student Association also participated in the ceremony.

After the ceremony, students took photos with the Ambassador and the Education and Culture Attaché (Atdikbud) of KBRI Bangkok, Mr. Ir. Achmad Wicaksono, M.Eng., Ph.D. Students also captured this rare moment by taking photos of students from other Indonesian campuses participating in various activities in Thailand.
