SURABAYA - The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas held a Workshop Event entitled "Entrepreneurship Learning Development" on Tuesday, 17 October 2023 at 09:00 - 12:00 WIB. This event is part of an effort to provide the latest insights and knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship to UHW Perbanas students and teaching staff.

This workshop presents speakers who are very experienced in the business world, namely Mr M. Oskar, S.E., M.H., as CEO of Okantara Group. Okantara Group has been widely recognised as one of the leaders in the entrepreneurship industry in Indonesia and has many achievements in the field of entrepreneurship. In this workshop, Mr M. Oskar shared valuable and important knowledge and experience around successful entrepreneurship.

The event was attended by key people within Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas. Participants who attended this event were the entire leadership of UHW Perbanas, including the Vice Deans of Faculty of Economics and Business who have a central role in curriculum development and learning. The Head of Study Program and lecturers from various courses related to entrepreneurship also attended this event.

The workshop was a valuable opportunity for students and faculty to gain insight into entrepreneurship from a successful practitioner. Mr M. Oskar shared his practical experience, business strategies, and future vision in entrepreneurship which was very inspiring.

In her remarks, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr Luciana Spica Almilia, S.E., M.Si., QTA said, "We are very proud and grateful to Mr M. Oskar for taking the time to share his experiences. Oskar for taking the time to share his valuable knowledge and experience with us. We believe that learning from practitioners like him can provide deep insights to our students, who in turn will become a successful generation in the world of entrepreneurship."

This workshop event reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Business Economics at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas to provide quality and relevant education that develops the entrepreneurial skills of its students and encourages UHW Perbanas students to move forward to succeed in entrepreneurship by contributing to the entrepreneurial world, starting with participating in PKKM. The spirit of learning and entrepreneurial spirit fostered by this event will hopefully continue to colour students' steps in the business world in the future and make students aware of the importance of starting a business and business management.
