This month, the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas commemorates its 52nd anniversary. The Opening Ceremony which was held online was also held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 yesterday. Today, Wednesday (12/1) the UHW Perbanas academic community participated in the Blood Donation activity which took place in Room C712, Wonorejo Campus. By collaborating with PMI Surabaya, a number of lecturers, employees, students, and alumni enthusiastically took part in the social action.

The Chief Executive of the 52nd Anniversary of UHW Perbanas, Pungky Arifianto, S.Sn., M.Sn., said that this Blood Donation event was the third activity after the opening and National Seminar of the Visual Communication Design Study Program (DKV).

“Here, we want to continue to spread the spirit of caring for others through social activities from the UHW Perbanas academic community. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic has also made the blood stock at PMI run low, so we are trying our best to hold a Blood Donor," said Pungky.

He continued, the theme for the 52nd Anniversary of UHW Perbanas carries the theme "A Relay of Excellence: In Path to be Biztech University". This means that the advantages that have been achieved so far are hoped to be continued when it is in the form of a university. "Hopefully this spirit will continue to be embedded in our souls in continuing our achievements," he hoped.

To note, the series of activities for the 52nd Anniversary of UHW Perbanas were held for approximately one full month. Considering that the condition is still a pandemic, the event is dominated virtually with a variety of events. These include: Photography Contest, Business Plan Poster Contest, Video Contest, E-Sports, Webinar Series, and others.
