Wahid Hasyim Glagah Lamongan Vocational School visited the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas. This activity was the first time for them after their collaboration in realizing the Center for Excellence Vocational High School (SMK-PK) Program in 2021. Located in Room C401, Wonorejo Campus, the entire delegation team that attended was welcomed by the Rector and Vice Rector 2 for Resources University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas on Wednesday, (22/9).

The head of the Wahid Hasyim Glagah Vocational School Teacher Team, Nur Indah Puspita Sari, S.Pd., said that her first visit brought two important agendas. First, his party wants to have further discussions regarding the SMK-PK Program and secondly about permits for industrial visits at Hayam Wuruk University Perbanas. “Actually, we came here for two purposes. For the first, the task of SMK-PK is because there are several things that we need to discuss. And for the second, we ask for permission to be able to visit the industry for students later in November," he explained on the sidelines of the activity.
According to him, the reason this industrial visit was carried out by him was because the Covid-19 pandemic had begun to slow down. In her area, Indah admits that she is already at level 1 so that it is possible to carry out activities. In fact, this time also decreased drastically when compared to a few months ago. "Hopefully this pandemic will end soon, so that all sectors can resume their activities," he hoped.

Rector of UHW Perbanas, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., welcomed the arrival of teachers from Wahid Hasyim Glagah Vocational School. Two weeks ago, his party had come to the school to provide training materials. He also offers a variety of facilities that can be used by students to increase competence. "We have a minimum of five laboratories, starting from the Bank Lab, Management Lab, Accounting and Taxation Lab, Computer Lab, and Language Lab, as well as the Engineering and Design Faculty Lab," he said to the delegation of SMK Wahid Hasyim Glagah Lamongan.

The event which was packaged in a relaxed discussion discussed the technical implementation of industrial visits for local students. Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University has prepared basic training materials for students to get to know about the Bank Laboratory and the Accounting and Taxation Laboratory managed by Evi Sistiyarini, S.E., M.M. and Nur'aini Rokhmania, S.E., Ak., M.Ak., CA. "Later on, during a visit by Wahid Hasyim Vocational School students, the group of students will be divided into two to practice in the laboratory that we manage," suggested Nur'aini to the local teacher team.
