GRADUATES PROFILE

 

The curriculum currently applied in the Islamic Economics Study Program is a curriculum that is prepared based on the vision, mission and goals of STIE PERBANAS Surabaya, and refers to Law no. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Presidential Decree No. 08 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). The above rules are used as a reference in preparing the learning outcomes of graduates from every level of education nationally. The curriculum, which initially refers to the achievement of competencies, then refers to learning outcomes. Another reference is the Regulation of the Minister of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 44 of 2015 concerning National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti).

In accordance with the vision and mission of the Bachelor of Sharia Economics, the curriculum has specific advantages in the fields of business and Islamic banking. The content of the existing curriculum is developed based on the development of science, technology and the needs of graduate users, so it is hoped that the study program will produce graduates who can compete both at the national and international levels. The content and implementation of the curriculum includes the depth of material that is directed at the formation of hard skills and behavioral skills (soft skills) needed in the world of work. This is done in an effort to achieve the goals of the Institution and Study Program, namely to produce graduates in the field of business and Islamic banking who are professional and have global insight.

The profiles of the graduates of the Bachelor of Sharia Economics are:

  1. Practitioners in Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions
  2. Islamic business and or entrepreneurship

Based on the data collected by Perbanas Career Center (PCC), 80% of STIE Perbanas Surabaya graduates are getting jobs less than 6 (six) months after graduating and 42% of graduates work in the banking industry followed by financial industry non-bank (19%), manufacture (18%), entrepreneur (15%), education (5%) and public accounting (1%).
