Curriculum

LEARNING OUTCOMES (LO)

A. ATTITUDE

Every graduate of the Banking and Finance D3 Study Program must have the following attitudes and values:

  1. to fear God Almighty and able to show a religious attitude;
  2. uphold human values ​​in carrying out duties based on religion, morals and ethics;
  3. contribute to improving the quality of life in society, nation, state, and advancement of civilization based on Pancasila;
  4. play a role as citizens who are proud and love the country, have nationalism and a sense of responsibility to the state and nation;
  5. respect the diversity of cultures, views, religions and beliefs, as well as the original opinions or findings of others;
  6. cooperate and have social sensitivity and concern for the community and the environment;
  7. obeying the law and discipline in social and state life;
  8. internalizing academic values, norms, and ethics;
  9. show an independent attitude of being responsible for work in their field of expertise;
  10. internalizing the spirit of independence, struggle and entrepreneurship; and
  11. internalize attitudes and behavior in accordance with the ethics of the banking and financial profession and do not abuse authority and responsibility that are contrary to the prevailing laws and regulations.

 

B. MASTER OF KNOWLEDGE

Graduates of the D3 Banking and Finance Study Program are required to have mastery of the following knowledge:

  1. mastering the theoretical concepts of banking and finance (banking and finance theory) and the theoretical concepts of accounting in general;
  2. master general concepts, principles, and complete procedural knowledge: a) collecting funds and banking services (funding and services); b) operational management; c) marketing management of non-bank financial products; d) bank audit;
  3. master the principles of: a) basic accounting principles based on the prevailing accounting standards; b) the basic principles of bank accounting based on the applicable banking accounting guidelines;
  4. Mastering general concepts, principles and techniques: a) effective communication using Indonesian and / or at least 1 (one) international language; b) excellent service; c) documentation and reporting of transactions; d) software; e) applied scientific writing techniques;
  5. Mastering factual knowledge and application methods of the applicable standards and professional code of ethics;
  6. Mastering factual knowledge of relevant policies and regulations in banking and finance and their meaning, at least covering bank and non-bank policies, regulations and legal aspects of credit or financing, as well as laws and regulations related to banking and capital markets;
  7. Mastering insight into micro and macro economic developments as well as current developments of financial institutions in Indonesia; and
  8. Mastering the concept of academic integrity in general and the concept of plagiarism in particular, in terms of types of plagiarism, consequences of violations and efforts to prevent them.

 

C. GENERAL SKILLS

Graduates of the D3 Banking and Finance Study Program are required to have the following general skills:

  1. be able to complete a wide-ranging work and analyze data with a variety of appropriate methods, both those that are not yet standardized;
  2. Able to show quality and measurable performance;
  3. Able to solve work problems with the nature and context that is in accordance with the field of applied expertise based on logical, innovative thinking and responsible for the results independently;
  4. Able to compile reports on results and work processes accurately and validly and communicate them effectively to other parties in need;
  5. Able to work together, communicate, and innovate in their work;
  6. Able to be responsible for the achievement of group work and to supervise and evaluate the completion of work assigned to workers who are under their responsibility;
  7. Able to carry out the self-evaluation process of the work group under their responsibility, and to manage the development of work competencies independently;
  8. Able to document, store, secure, and recover data to ensure validity and prevent plagiarism;
  9. able to adapt, cooperate, create, contribute, and innovate in applying science to life and play a role as a global citizen with a global perspective;
  10. Be able to uphold academic integrity in general and prevent plagiarism practices;
  11. Able to use information technology in the context of scientific development and implementation of areas of expertise; and
  12. Able to use at least one international language for oral and written communication.

 

D. SPECIAL SKILLS

Graduates of the D3 Banking and Finance Study Program are required to have the following specific skills:

  1. Able to provide banking services in accordance with the regulations and Standard Operational Procedures (POB) in effect in Indonesia, including the ability to:
    1. identify transactions needed by customers and prepare daily transaction fund needs;
    2. perform cash and non-cash banking service transactions accurately and quickly;
    3. perform daily transaction closing processes accurately and quickly;
    4. handling customer complaints, identifying root causes, providing alternative solutions that are already available, and following up on resolving problems that have not been resolved with available alternative solutions, with colleagues or superiors;
    5. identify the need for information on products and services of a customer / prospective customer in an accurate and fast manner, and communicate information on relevant bank products and services to customers effectively;
    6. compile a work plan for the implementation of a marketing strategy for Third Party Fund (DPK) products using face-to-face methods, group meetings, general promotions with consideration of targets, priority scales, benefits, costs and bank databases;
    7. market products / services to customers or prospective customers to collect Bank TPF with an appropriate method;
    8. monitor and compile reports on the progress of DPK;

 

  1. Able to carry out credit or financing management activities in accordance with the regulations and Standard Operational Procedures (POB) in effect in Indonesia, including the ability to:
    1. identify potential customers and offer credit / financing products;
    2. conduct an assessment of applications for credit or retail financing based on data and information;
    3. to propose credit / financing decisions;
  2. Able to manage bank operations in accordance with their duties and authorities, as well as the applicable Standard Operational Procedures (POB), covering at least the ability to:
    1. perform verification, confirmation, authorization of bank transactions;
    2. prepare and carry out the period end transaction settlement process as part of the financial statements;
    3. verify the supporting documents for disbursement;
  3. able to market, sell, and buy non-bank financial products (capital market products, insurance, pension funds, pawnshops, and multi finance), according to customer needs and based on regulations and POB applicable in Indonesia;
  4. able to prepare a budget, book financial transactions, compile financial reports based on applicable accounting standards, calculate, fill in, and report the minimum tax on income tax article 21 and annual SPT, in accordance with POB;
  5. is able to carry out audit procedures based on audit guidelines in banking;
  6. Able to communicate all types of banking and non-bank services to clients using Indonesian accurately and accurately, and at least one international language effectively;
  7. be able to select a banking information technology system in accordance with the needs of financial service transactions and to operate a banking information technology system appropriately and quickly; and
  8. Able to provide excellent and professional service to clients in accordance with Standard Operational Procedures (POB), particularly in maintaining the security and confidentiality of customer data.
